Q9: Do you prefer working in a team or on your own?

Think about this one before you answer.
Think about the position for which you are applying.
It is likely to require flexibility of working styles,
but will probably fall into one of the following
3 categories:
- Group /Team
You don’t have personal responsibility
for the outcome, but are part of a group that achieves
it. Often everyone has the same role, e.g. in a
call centre.
- Team / Solo
Most professional roles require a mixture:
you have a defined role and responsibilities, but
tend to do much of your work in a team environment.
- Mainly Solo
You are responsible for your own outcomes
and may be required to spend a considerable amount
of time working independently. You will probably
still work as part of a team.
The best bet with this question is to try to tailor
your answer to the company’s needs, whilst
remaining honest. If you say you are a great team
player, they’ll soon spot you’re not,
once you start the job…
